Early morning on Pico on the way to work, followed by a post-UCB show dinner at The Counter with parmesan fries and a Nutella shake. And a lengthy conversation with Cathy in the car as per usual.
Btw the UCB show ONLY featured Dominic Dierkes, DC Pierson, and Ben Schwartz. Because duh. And Mary-Cate actually volunteered a story!!
Great almost end to my fantastic year.

Training room at work. Apparently there was a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed holiday party a week before I started working here.
Cathy and I also went to UCB and saw my favorite former Arclight co-workers, Valeria & Sarah in line!!!!!!!!

It’s located adjacent to the LAX airport so we see planes all the time but it would’ve been cool if a plane passed by as I was taking a pic.

HUGEEE day at my first day of work. Lots of interesting info. This is what I took home. Tow big binders and a tote bag full of my business cards and a Snickers bar.
And a Bold and the Beautiful messenger bag from my brother’s former old internship at CBS.

Pretty cool boxing day.
Went to eat at Norm’s with my nephew and his mom/my brother’s ex-girlfriend (food was terrible), then went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked for free with them and my brother (my nephew’s dad). I actually liked the movie :( Plus the Alvin movie before this is his favorite. He calls Theodore “Feodore” and Simon “da one with da glasses” (Alvin is his favorite though).
After that I went to Chi’s ~kickback~ at her apartment! Jen, Dash, & Cathy were there, too! Fun times.

I hate going to The Grove (or any shopping area, really) during Christmastime, but I kinda had to go. Although it wasn’t that bad. I finally mailed Danielle’s gift and had Chipotle afterwards.

I did nothing but sneeze and watch Teen Mom until Cathy and I met later that night by a Chipotle and exchange our gifts. I got her the first season of Living Single on DVD along with a card I “made”, and she gave me a shitload of random things including a toothbrush (for the CANDY she bought me), two free tickets to Flapper’s Comedy Club, a mix CD she made me (lol at the songs), a ring, a best friend’s calendar, and THIS PLAYBOY MAGAZINE buahahhaha
We ate at Chipotle and saw our boo that looks like Dominic Dierkes and then we went to Ben Schwartz’s show at UCB where Adam MacKay, Adam Pally, Gil Ozeri, and Horatio Sanz performed as well and there was a joke about pupusas and none of them (except Horatio, of course, who brought it up) knew what it was and after the showe Cathy and I went to eat at Denny’s and then I linked Ben/Adam P/Gil to what pupusas were as if I knew them and it was a hoot.

Amy and I went to Tito’s Tacos in Culver City for the first time. Pretty delicious (and busy). Then we went to West Hollywood where we went to House of Dole Whip. Pretty delicious (and not busy).
When I got home, I remembered I needed to go to Walgreens to get some things (incl. part of Cathy’s awesome gift i’m giving her tmrw) so I walked there with my hurt/broken left foot and there’s a hot pnx guy working at Walgreens who was giving away free samples of Ferrero Rocher! He was pretty nice too. On the way home, on my street a few houses away, these penguins were in someone’s frontyard.

Did absolutely nothing all day, then at the last minute met up with Cathy, Chi, Dash, & Jen at Kabuki. Those are Cathy’s claws. I didn’t buy anything but ate some stuff.
After that Cathy and I went to McDonald’s. Lol idk.

Was supposed to go on a date (!!!!!!) tonight, didn’t because I was sick and felt like shit. I mean, maybe, but then later that night my left foot started hurting like hell for no reason (still does) and then a mysterious puffy bump formed under my left eye!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it’s gone….again, for some reason. But weird!!!!!!
The first picture is black-colored water my brother brought. Tastes exactly like water, but it’s just black.

Such a busy, eventful day! So many things happened but basically
- went shopping with my mom at the mall at like 8am. mainly bought business casual attire for my new job, and no Christmas presents. bought new regular pants for me, too. ate at a very good Chipotle-like place
- did my juror orientation online, Internet kept going out, had to keep starting over
- met Mary-Cate at Arclight and went to see My Week With Marilyn
- ate at Chipotle, saw our Dominic Dierkes doppleganger boo
- walked to the actual Dominic Dierkes’ podcast show
- put my name in the bucket
- got called to be an audience guest
- didn’t freak out or do that bad
- the creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the other guest
- MC’s mom took me home
- called Cathy and freaked, as she was at a friend’s birthday party
- she picked me up on the street corner of my house and we went to eat at 101 Cafe
- loling and freaking the entire time
- loling more
- going home
